Greeting in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

I know that the election came as a shock to many, and we as Christians shouldn’t be surprise of the outcome. The Lord has the ability to raise one up and the ability to put one down. He has given us plenty examples throughout the bible.

The Israelites were given a Task Master,

(a hard man one who knew not Joseph), for four hundred years. This came after Joseph had saved Egypt and his people from experiencing famine.

Moses, an unlikely and unappealing leader of Israel, who led them out of Egypt, only after murdering a man for harming an Israelite.

Abraham, (Abram) who was a liar, but became the Father of many Nations. He also was the law giver, trusted by God.

David committed adultery and he consented to murder, yet he is known as a man after God’s own heart.

Oh! Not to forget Matthew, you know the Tax Collector, who Jesus chose as a follower.

Paul (Saul) was a persecutor of Christians, a man who stood by and watched while holding the cloaks of Pharisees, while Stephen was being stoned to death.

I could go on and on through Biblical History, but what fun would it be, if I left nothing for your curious mind to seek. This brings me back to the present time, we are about to experiencing leadership in our country as never before, that’s a given. I know that there have been twists and turns, that have been devastating to see in our time, to witness the total disregard for truth to witness the acceptance of degradation against right and that which is wholesome.

So here we are, living in this time when all of this is going on. If we reflect back in our reading of the bible, we will see how Jesus came on the scene, though everyone was expecting the Messiah to come, but no one expected him to come in the person of Jesus, and not as a carpenter’s son. (They were looking for royalty a kingly person).

Although Jesus was legit, proven when he opened up the scriptures and read and said, “That today the scriptures are fulfilled, the prophecy of His coming by the prophets in the book of Isaiah”

Remember, we are all Monday morning quarterbacks and with our faith we believe that Jesus is the Christ and the one to come. Yes, we have read the accounts of Jesus and what He endured because we believe the scriptures that were left for us about His life. We as Christians are obligated to obey them that have rule over us whether we like them or not. We know that all promotions comes from God and He has a plan for this country and it’s leadership.

Remember, to lean not to your own understanding, but trust also in God and He will direct your path. God put no more on us that we can bear. The bottom line is this, we have to be obedient to God by doing our best to support this new administration, by letting our conscience and beliefs be known, stand up for what we believe and vote to remove all that oppose our vision. This begins at the local level, state level and federal lever. This is life, we are really living in this time and we have to learn from the past, and be very careful how we right someone off. We don’t have to say or do anything but just trust God, and see the domino affect take action. We as a people need not constantly worry or complain about this administration, it’s a done deal. God has it all in control!
